That is a good question, Nan. So, I called the Deer Farm, and the employee gave me the following information:
Most of them are ‘fallow deer’. They are not indigous to North America - the lady told me that most are from Europe and Asia.

Thanks for calling the Deer Farm, yorkie. That was beyond the line of duty. I thought they were Fallow Deer but knew they were not native to America. Wonder how they got here? Very good swimmers? They fly? Walk on water? LOL.
