I recently discovered the Amelia Peabody books by Elizabeth Peters. They are wonderful. Light mystery mixed with Egyptian archaeology.

I read a lot of fantasy.

The Secret Country trilogy by Pamela Dean is really good.

The Dragon Knight series by Gordon R. Dickson are good, too.

And I like both the Dragon Companion and Pyromancer series by Don Callander.
