'An' anti Christ means something different than 'the' anti Christ, doesn't it?

Depends on if you believe there is more than one spirit of anti-Christ. I don't.

I agree with that, but in common usage, when most people today refer to the antiChrist, they are referring to the beast of Rev 13 that overcomes the Saints for 42 months.
