We lived just south of Denton for 13 years. Moved away in 1998. UNT has been a hot bed of homosexual activists and occult spiritualists (especially in the music department). Every university has it danger zones. UNT is certainly NOT without its good points. Parents need to go into any college with eyes wide open.

Back in the stone age, when I thought I was going to major in music performance, I was actually interested in UNT. (I don't live far from there; see screenname.) My brother blew it all for me when he mentioned in front of our parents that UNT, especially the music department, had a problem with drug use, even in the faculty.

This was supported by a high school classmate, 2 years ahead of me, who transferred there from the teacher's college we were both attending in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Problem was, he didn't come home and say "that place is infested with druggies", he came home and said "wanna smoke a bowl?"
