Newly formed Tropical Storm Dolly over the NW Caribbean Sea near 18.4N 84.2W. 1008 MB at 11AM this morning. Max sustained winds 40KT, gusts 50KT, moving NW at 15KT.

1- LOTS of Freepers live on the Gulf coasts.
2- Hurricanes have a mind of their own.
3- One good storm in the Gulf will send the oil market into a tizzy.
4- Some of us are just interested in weather and other natural phenomenons wherever they occur.

I wonder, after Rita did that area around Cameron come back? I haven’t been over there but it sure seemed like the very same area was hit.
My brother in law, back in the day, was a photographer who was first on the scene after Audrey, he did a story for Life and I saw the photos that weren’t published because they were so horrible. It was truly a disaster.

This storm mite shut-down the rigs in the western Gulf,,, All it has to do is get to a CAT-1,,, Gas will go up... Ok...now I'm interested. :)
