It’s in the eye right now, waiting on vortex message - they’re aiming to drop the sensor in the northern part of the eye, eye approximately 19 miles across (measuring off of radar.)

The movement has been quite negligible. And, it has not been steady. It has been jiggin and jaggin for the last 7 hours.

26 miles traveled in 3 hours would be considered a stall for a hurricane. Thats not much movement at all and most of those movements have been jogs and not steady.

NN: As landfall approaches, perhaps a newer version of this in Breaking?

NN: Thank you for this thread and all you do. Here at the edge of the outflow bands it is strangely still, with something like a wonderful spring rain. I look for that to change directly.

CD: Beside all the water, Beulah was tornado ville. Yes, down here with all the available heat, tornados are really common. Even Gilbert was a tornado spawner. Keep some blankets or better yet something like a mattress by the tub, ready for duck and cover.

Jim Cantore was just on the Weather Channel, said Dolly is intensifying, and the major problem is going to be flooding, as she moves in slow.

The official, bonified, and certified hurricane dog seems to be concerned with facing southwest. Now that has me scratching my head.

Stay safe down there, ya’ll.
