Apparently, the leopard dragged the crocodile from the water.

From the article: "The giant cat raced out of cover provided by scrub and bushes to surprise the crocodile, which was swimming nearby.

A terrible and bloody struggle ensued. Eventually, onlookers were amazed to see the leopard drag the crocodile from the water as the reptile fought back."

These big cats are enormously strong and have a savage temperament far greater than these big reptiles. I have seen shows on Animal TV where tigers swim across rivers and the crocs stay far away as possible. An average adult tiger is from 600-800 pounds and probably the most powerful ground predator on the earth.
