Since when is it considered a "loser" to mind your own business?
I guess a "winner" is someone who tolerates neighbors who have no social graces to a point where it infringes on their property?
It's too bad for you that you finally got a different perspective to the view that your cat has the right to do any thing it wants, even on someone else's property. You also prefer to speak with emotions and are completely void of common sense and common courtesy when it comes to unleashed animals.
If you want your kitty safe, keep it in your home, or don't complain if/when something happens to it.
