Free range kitties have substantially reduced the incidence of Giant Canada Geese in this area and now our sidewalks are no longer green and slimey.

I have to admit, I laughed when my wife caught what she thought was a next door neighbor's cat with a bird in its mouth. She ran out and the cat dropped the bird. My response was that the cat had to eat and her bird feeder is just the place. I dislike birds, a Herron looked beautiful sitting on our fence until I noticed it was feeding on our Koi pond.

The funny thing is my wife saw the same cat when she was walking the dog and it wasn't a neighbor's cat, it was skinny and needed food. So now she feels guilty. If I find that cat it will be like the roach motel, they check in but never leave unless we find an adoptive family.

I seriously don't believe cats kill 5 million birds a year. Think of it as improving the breed by culling the week.
