Send me a check for the ammo! I shoot at an indoor range and at 20 bucks a box (can’t use reloads, can’t bring in your own ammo even if it says “indoor”), I’d be sleeping in my car if I shot 1000 rounds/mo!

Colonel, USAFR

Get yourself out to The Bullet Hole. You can shoot what you bring, (except in their guns of course) and you can rent a machine gun if that suits your fancy.

Besides, you're a Colonel and a lawyer, I'll bet you can afford it...unless you are supporting multiple ex wives or something. :)

I hate shooting indoors, for any number of reasons. I prefer shooting at places other than ranges, but that's hard to arrange unless one has farmer friends or relatives nearby. I have farmer relatives, (my mother in law owns the farm now) but 600-650 miles away. :)

There are other outdoor facilities in San Antonio. You might even be able to use facilities at Camp Bullis or Lackland. San Antonio Rifle and Pistol Club uses Camp Bullis.

FREEP Mail me if you'd like a local contact, a retired Army Reserve Lt. Colonel as it happens.
