That it's just gang violence. It doesn't look that way to me. It looks like black youth on white violence that ha sa racial component to it. I've been living it down here going on 20 years or so now....a big change from my youth.
It's endemic and no one calls them on it. Instead the media (which they are disproportionately represented in according to Coloring The News/McGowan) still rolls with white or colonial racism which is all but dead itself.
Take the last 30 years...
.off my head I can recall 3 incidents of white tuffs killing or beating severely blacks for the crime of being black etc.
......Howard Beach bent-noses whip some blacks whose car breaks down on the BQE I think...one runs in the freeway and is killed....the media howls
again shortly after in Brooklyn some black kid is killed again in an Italian enclave for squiring a white chick
the James Byrd incident.....nuff said there for anyone over 12
I'm sure there have been others but juxtapose that with the daily barrage of blacks attacking whites and always at high odds and beyond just a fair ass whipping
