Packer replaced as CBS' lead college basketball analyst

As CBS Sports announced Monday that it has hired Clark Kellogg to replace Billy Packer as lead analyst for its college basketball broadcasts, Packer cast an unemotional eye on his three decades as one of the network's signature voices and said he is eager to work on other projects.

Who was worse Packer or Vitale?

Packer is much worse. For all of Vitale's shortcomings as a commentator, he is an excellent ambassador for college hoops. His love of the game always shows through. People like him, flock towards him.

Who would you rather have dinner with?
