YEAH BAY BEE!
Goodbye to ACC loving Billy Packer. I guess CBS finally realized everyone was sick of Mr. Know-It-All and his crying about Carolina losing last year. Jay Bilas would have been a better choice.
THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!
I dunno. Clark Kellogg? NCAA Basketball without Billy Packer is like College Football with JoePa and Bobby Bowden.
Long, long overdue.
I enjoyed it back in the day when it was the Dick Enberg-Al Maguire-Billy Packer team and Al Maguire would endlessly mess with Packer and Packer wouldn’t even realize it.
Worst commentator ever!
Billy Packer hates UNC; Just like everyone at DSPN (Dook Sports Network).
UConn fans won’t miss him.
Okay, he loves “Puke” most of all, but he will take UNC (and any ACC team over any other team) any day of the week. No ACC team ever committed a foul in history of the NCAA, etc. Good riddance to the old fart.
He played at Wake Forest under Bones McKinney.
Who was worse Packer or Vitale?
College basketball has become a joke. That idiot running the NBA makes the best players park a year in college whether they want to or not. Whether a college is successful is not about building a team, but more like a lottery in which you get an elite player to spend a year at your school.
And there was great rejoicing.
I attended Ohio State when Clark Kellogg was a player there so I’ve always liked him and am glad he got this job. I’ve seen him speak at various christian brakfasts the accompany the Final Four weekend. He seems like a good guy.
I agree. It's ridiculous with these people that pretty one year and then they go onto the NBA.
Packer hates Carolina. Actually he hates about everyone. Even his alma mater. The man is a font of negativity. That said I kinda like him because unlike a lot of the guys he actually talks about the game at hand and knows his stuff.
Watching college basketball hasn’t been the same since Al Maguire passed.
I too was a Buckeye during those days. I’m very pleased to often hear Clark’s outspoken Christian testimony. He frequently speaks at a breakfast hosted by retired Pastor Bob Burney of WRFD 880 AM. He also proudly wears his U.S. flag on his suit prominently displayed when others refused to do so.
