I don't think they hold themselves out to be roles models. They should get married, but having said that, as long as they are responsible, love and provide for their children, they are doing the right thing although not perfect.

If a teenage girl got pregenant by her boyfriend, but was able to keep the child and provide for it, and loved the child, that would be the right thing to do although not perfect.

Charity and humanitarian efforts trump trashy personal relationships. OK, I get it now. Whether one considers her a role model or not, public figures are fair game. Does her PR humanitarian work cover up her lack of moral character?

I dunno.
