Saddam will never have nukes. Mission accomplished.

W’s ranking by left wing historians is meaningless.

The same 61% say Clinton was the best, i.e. the “historians” are moronic Leftist hacks.

Saddam was not making WMDs, but we invaded and eliminated him anyway. Good riddance, but at a high cost.

Now Iran IS making WMDs, but we no longer have the willpower to do anything about it.

This record may reveal good intentions, but it is difficult to call it a success.

I did not read the whole thing. I will keep the link as a very good summary of events Iraq.

We know the outcome -- it sure seems to me.

You can pat the cute little Rat stalwarts on the head and console their grief that things have not turned out badly. They tried, they failed. Tell 'em to run along and play "save the planet" -- no, wait they're losing there also. Better call in some heavy weight counselors.

What about the future? This will kill all kinds of Rats.

What if the EU of the Middle East is a formin'? Starting with Iraq, the Kurds.. and, guess who, Turkey!

A Turkish-Iraqi axis like the French-German one?

"the 'Strategic and Economic Cooperation Agreement', an accord signed between [Turkey and Iraq] . . . this recent reconciliation between Turkey and Iraq is so crucial that it might well change the entire look of the Middle East and even serve to formation of a strong Turkey-Iraq axis."

But what of Islamists in Turkey?

Even in a country of Muslims Islamists ain't welcome by the majority who prefer their constitutional democratic republic

"Turkey has been locked in a political turmoil as everybody waits for the Constitutional Court's ruling on the AKP closure case, which is expected in early August. The ruling AKP has been accused of being 'the focal point of anti-secular activities.'"
