Of course I’ve seen plenty of sharks literally surfing down through the length of breaking waves - I’m pretty darn sure that they’re doing that for fun just like the people are.
You think sharks do sometimes play in the surf?
I have always thought of Sharks as not very intelligent fish, I wouldn’t think they would enjoy ‘playing.’
If fish and mammals do play in the surf that could account for the number of beached marine life we find.
