I'm in the same boat as you. Even though the alternative is unthinkable, it will take a fifth of Old Overholdt and two bars of lye soap to get me through the day I do vote for McCain. When he licks La Raza boots like that he makes my flesh crawl.
Here’s how I choose to hear it:

Yep, by my understanding Spanish not only wasn’t the majority language, even up to and past the time of the Spanish Empire, those who spoke Spanish were almost universally hated by the indigenous tribes that populate Arizona.

What does the fact that Spanish was spoken in Arizona before English have anything to do with the 2008 election?? Absolutly nothing!...unless you are pandering.
People are going to vote for whom they think will give them a fair shot at the American Dream. They might even vote for someone who isn't going to have his hand in their back pockets, in the name of "taxes" all the time.
McCain and Obama were both addressing Latino/Hispanic audiences.
Your idea that he is pandering is really weird. Did you ever have "study body president" elections at your highschool? I suppose if the teen candidate had said he was going to lead the highschool into the desert for survival training, that wouldn't have been considered "pandering"....
But the other teen candidate saying he would work hard in fundraising to support the purchase of uniforms for the school band... would be "pandering" to the band.
So what can we do?
Is it possible that a miracle could occur during the Republican national convention?
Do we vote third party and let Obama ruin the nation completely, or do we hold our nose and settle for McCain ruining the nation somewhat slower?
You are wrong. It’s pandering and it’s not the American Dream to break the law and steal social services and not pay taxes as so many ILLEGALS do. People who vote will not be ILLEGAL aliens. When the Hispanics vote, it will be for whomever will give them the most money from someone else. What has public speaking have to do with stealing? Most legal Latinos don’t pay income taxes now because of the tax structure so that argument is false also. I wish they did pay taxes so mine would not be so high or be raised so much as is coming.
Vote third party & allow Obama to work his magic. Almost guaranteed to produce a hard-line conservative president in 2012.
