What a load of sanctimonious twaddle, but I'll respond anyway. Everyone can be saved, but so what? Frankly I don't give a rat's a$$ about Kennedy's soul, his redemption, etc., but what I'm addressing are his actions over his life while swilling at the public trough. Your attitude reminds me of the misguided fools that gather around prisons protesting the death penalty when a particularly heinous murderer is put to death. All sympathy, empathy and concern for the criminal and none for the victims.
But I'm going to pray for that, and him,
Tell me honestly how often have you posted that you're going to pray for Mary Jo Kopchne? How often do you pray for the millions of taxpayers robbed of their hard earned wealth by Kennedy and his ilk. Those taxpayers who go to their graves un-prayed for by those exhibiting the ostentatious piety you're demonstrating here. Who was it in the bible who was praying "'O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity--greedy, dishonest.." Why I believe it was the Pharisee in Luke.
All of your irrelevant posturing aside, I haven't seen any evidence or statements from Kennedy that he's renounced his lifelong goal of turning the USA into a clone of Cuba or North Korea. Have you? I guess that as long as he remains alive he is still an active and tireless enemy of everything I believe in. So by all means pray for his soul if it makes you feel good about yourself and throw in a phrase or two about thanking God that you're not like the rest of humanity. I'll pass on the hypocrisy and thank God that one of my enemies can only do me harm for a limited amount of time.
