There’s a hotel right on the grounds of Parris Island where we stayed when our son graduated. It is a very nice hotel, and you can hear the Marine recruits going through their cadences from your room. It’s also close to all the ceremonies, and they have wonderful gift shops, and the Commissary, where you can shop for souveniers. I think the name was the Onslow Inn, but I’m not sure if that is correct. (I may be thinking of the name of a place near Camp LeJeune). I think if you go to the Parris Island web site, they will have the name of the hotel. But you have to book early, and if they need the hotel for lodging the trainees for DIs, then you may not be able to book a room. But I would start calling now, and the rates are very reasonable in comparison to private hotels nearby.

Correction to my previous post. It’s the Osprey Inn on the grounds at Parris Island. Here is the link for their home page.
