I'm back from what was to be a great fireworks show but the fog swallowed those 5 and 6 inch shells and all we saw was a faint glow. I did meet up with old FRiends I hadn't seen in quite a spell...

Fog is common on the Fourth of July here in Eureka. We are headed to the Winco Super Market for supplies for TOMORROWS cook out. The grandkids are out of town until then. Can't wait to hear their stories! Grandson stayed HERE for over a week with a friend and his family.

The only horses my GS rides are on 2 wheels and helmet is mandatory.

Let me tell you about our shopping trip. Wife had 8 must have items on her list but the tab was $144.62 and it filled the cavernous trunk of her 95 Riviera which is large enough to carry all our large kitchen appliances plus the extra fridge in the garage.

Oh... and they were out of watermelons!

I set the limit at $650 and two carts. I haven't had to use the roof rack yet (thank goodness, the garage door is only 2" higher than the UAV).

I wear a helmet on my mountain bike. I did when I owned a motor, too. Split a new Bell right down the center. Rang my bell, but I'm still here. Head hit a post. In the garage. Wheelie up the drive got away. Now you know.

You might have a point on a mountain bike, don’t know. We don’t have mountains, don’t even have hills. The closest ones are way further than I will ride without a motor!

Well we had already spent over $350 at Costco on Wednesday plus our burgers and franks came from Jos A Banks in the Rush pack. Wish you could have been with us in Old Town yesterday. There weren't as many booths but plenty of people and sunny skies...
