Some people believe that religion is a mental security blanket that makes living possible for most people and that it evolved for that purpose.Yes, I read that earlier today, on a different thread-article that you posted. I thought it was too ridiculous to respond to then, but I'll respond now: The whole premise that the "idea" of religion can "evolve" reeks of Carl Jung, and I thought Jungian philosophy died a much-deserved death several decades ago. Is this a revival of it?
