I was impressed with McCain's Mom. Now I'm impressed with his wife. Getting a commercial pilot's license is quite an accomplishment by itself. Being a good parent is even more so.

Now, if McCain would only do something to impress me . . . the global warming commercials sure don't do it!

FYI, when Cindy McCain “flies” John McCain around the country to his rallies, she doesn’t do the piloting, since she does not have a pilot’s license. What it means is that he gets the use of her corporate jet at greatly reduced costs.

Why on earth doesn’t McLame have his interesting family and accomplished wife front and center in this campaign (and I don’t mean in a hokey, phony way)? Cindy and the family could earn a lot of points with people who don’t care for McQueeg himself.

As a nurse Cindy McCain has also traveled to Mexico with many Arizona surgeons to perform free medical help to those who would otherwise go without. She is a huge philanthropist.
