I’ve really tied a few on over the years - pretty much all alcohol related.
But I can’t possibly imagine being so blitherlingly wiped out that I could have choked to death on my own vomit.
It happens with alarming frequency actually. Many years ago one of my fraternity brothers passed out drunk and was percolating vomit out of his mouth just like an old style coffee pot. I probably saved his life by rolling him on his side to keep his airway clear.
