They are picky about health issues. One of my friends in Oklahoma had a son who was in line to get into the Naval Academy on a sports program, but the physical showed he had a heart defect. This was a heart defect that hadn’t kept him from qualifying for a top level sports program, but he was still disallowed.

I haven’t sent one out in a while - nothing but domestic shlock in these parts - but this evening’s potation is from the Republic of Georgia, Kakheti Cellar wine, “Mtatsminda” vintage 2004. It’s very tasty, semi-sweet, with a strong grape flavor. It really needs whole-wheat crackers and sharp cheddar cheese, but we don’t have any.

By drinking wines of the Republic of Georgia, you are spitting in the eye of Russian President (Ras)Putin!

As well they should be. I was 11 the last time a Dr. gave a clean bill of health, but let’s not discuss that right now.
