The punch line was something like “Because I knew no one would come running if I yelled CHOCOLATE!” I suspected that. What had me worried was that it might have been something funny.
I would have difficulty dealing with that. Next thing to senility, you know.
(Even worse is when you forget the punch line and then laugh at it all over again. That's just sad.)
