It wouldn’t be Seattle with no rain...
Exactly. Our nice moss lawns tend to turn brown this time of year (upside is we don't have to mow, and nothing clogs a lawnmower faster than moss!), we suffer with heat waves that reach 80 and ugly blue skies (that old song about "The Bluest Skies You Ever Saw Are In Seattle" is 100% correct and take a warning -- it can get really ugly here this time of year) and we pray for rain (this will soon pass and we'll return to the delightful soft gray drizzle so beloved of those of us adapted to Scotland's cheery climes).
