The Cuyahoga, if I remember correctly. Did it damage a bridge in the process? I don't recall...

In any event, Lake Erie was considered hopelessly polluted back then. I gather folks are fishing in it again.

I wasn’t around at the time but both the river and lake are as polluted as ever.
