I agree. I sometimes say, about such people, that I’m surprised they have enough brain activity to sustain heartbeat and respiration.
Tomorrow is my great Brownie adventure, subject of much rambling here and several nightmares at home. At 3:00 p.m., we will assemble at a pottery studio, where the girls will get to mold clay dishes or figurines. Then we’ll go to the Girl Scout Council facility, where they have little buildings (”Pods”) available for troop use. There is a climbing activity (”bouldering”) which one of our moms is trained to lead. Then we’ll have supper. Then they can play games or do crafts. I’m taking our seashells from Myrtle Beach, some glue, and some magnet-backing, and they can make shell magnets. Then we’ll have ice cream and they will, hopefully, eventually, fall asleep.
Tuesday morning (my birthday - after a night with the Brownies, I’ll be turning 45 instead of the expected 42 ...) we’ll get up and clean up, and all should be gone by 9:00 a.m. I have to take Bill to the cardiologist in the afternoon, so they can look at his valve again.
