Compared to having a baby in a military hospital, that was nothing. Actually, it was nothing compared to having a really bad rash in a military hospital, it was nothing. The entire dermatology department at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center had a good look at me in 1991, and observed, “We’ve never seen anything like your arms and legs. That was GROSS!”
Gosh, everybody went away again. That always happens when I talk about my deliveries ...
I had a baby in a military hospital...both my legs cramped at the same time, and the snotty doctor asked me what I thought HE could do about it. A little corpsman came in with a paper cup of orange juice, and the cramps went away in a flash!
And that’s the only horror story I have....
