Just found that I don’t have a certain map for IL2 1946 and can’t continue my campaign..
So I have to download the update.
The one I was putting off because some people had issues with it.

OK. Here is ‘Face’s Rule of Thumb:
Idiots have issues because they have no clue how to overcome them.
Intelligent people use challenges as stepping stones to better themselves.

Well, the patch I was putting ioff doing for my game had some flaky dll files that didn’t work for some people.
Now I am forced into downloading it.

One I bought.
IL2 1946 is a nice flight sim, one where you can play as the Krauts, the Francofrogs, the Poles, the Nord, Finns, Brits, Americans.. New Zealanders, Aussies, Japan.. all in WWII or vicinity.
(1946 drifts into a ‘what if’ scenario where WWII ended with teh assassination of Hitler and everyone stopping in place.)
