Long day today. Good & bad... but witnessed and celebrated a friend's becoming an American citizen today.

We know all about Freudian slips, Bucko. Don't forget whose company you were in the last time I saw you.

Good morning! DP and I will have our 20th anniversary next February, if all progresses as planned.

You think the mods make kittens lie down on dogs?

Ping me when they make lions lie down with lambs.

****************

Heh. Our Mods are awesome, so prepare to be pinged at any moment. :)

NicknamedSue and I "celebrated" our twenty-sixth anniversary last month. I got her a handful of dandelions. She cooked me a hot dog.

What a happy couple!

It’s overcast here today. I hope it will rain.

Rain is in the forecast here, but unless there’s something lurking west of the Olympics out of radar view, we’re out of luck.

Tentatively Wednesday. We might go Tuesday and spend some time on the Oregon coast on the way down. But then again, the big SUV’s transmission blew yesterday (and the small SUV is too small for the gear) — we may end up renting a vehicle.

Hello! I was lurking earlier, but decided it was time to add my .02 cents worth.

I went to my daughter’s this morning and picked up Igor’s personal history so I can start it again. I wish I had a better chair to sit in while I work.

Anyway, this time, I’m going to save it on CD-ROM “just-in case.”

"I wish I had a better chair to sit in while I work."

Put a cushion on the chair. You can borrow one from the kitchen, or fold up a blanket, or use your imagination, but make it more comfortable.

I’m still trying to figure out EXACTLY how I lost it. I was preparing it for printing, reducing it to half-sheet size so I could take it to Kinko’s for binding (around $5 a copy) and the next thing I knew, it was gone. Poof. Blank pages staring at me.

All that work...four months worth...for nothing.
