It’s keeping me busy. I suppose that’s better than the unemployment line... ;-)
Our post orifice is open 24/7, but the windows don’t open until 8:00 on weekdays, and 9:00 on Saturday. Still, that beats any other po I’ve been too in a long time.
Wal-Mart is open 24/7 and so are the grocery stores. I like to go while they are still stocking. :o])
I think working at Mickey D’s is better than the unemployment line.
But that’s just me! I don’t like unemployment checks.
I think our P.O. is open 24 hours for boxholders, too.
We got the lawn mowed, but now it looks like it’s not going to rain. Maybe we can go to the pool this evening. We haven’t been in a while.
Some of the PO’s are only open from 0600 to 1800, and there are guards on duty during those hours. I used to have a PO box at one of them, and I hated it. Especially if I got off work late.
Of course, it just depends on the area one lives in. I like my PO, although there is ONE clerk that needs a brain transplant...
Now that I’m using stamps.com, I don’t often have to stand in line. I can even mail all my packages from here, by printing out the correct postage and scheduling a pick-up. Lucky me!
It sounds like this one was centered out the cow patties. Earthquake that is. I wounder if the cows really enjoy them like the commercials.

I usually feel them if they are within 600 miles. My bed is elevated on bricks, and it will sway with a quake. I even felt the ones in Elko this winter.
So did you feel this one?

Moving already???
Already?? We’ve been here almost the requisite month.
Woo Hoo! Nice, cool, refreshing rain falling now... Guid Scottish Weather!!!! *\;^)
Rain came Saturday morning at Ocean Shores. Made me crash my Harley.
Well, that and the caged fools ahead of me that slammed on their brakes for no apparent reason on a blind curve. And the newly laid asphalt. And oil.
Had an MRI on my busted up knee today, and a Doctor visit tomorrow to see how badly I broke my thumb. Will find out the results of my MRI Thursday... all other body parts are functional. Full helmet, head to toe leather. I’m a believer.
Signing out, hard to type with one hand.
This is the first one I felt in a long time. I was in Hemet about 50 miles from the center. I was sitting at one of those tall tables a Panda Express when I clearly felt it shake. The people walking or standing near by didn’t seem to notice.
A month already?
Time’s a flyin.
Of course things have been shaking around here...maybe it’s better to move on.
I see you
Is the bike okay?
Aa good guy I know died last week going home from work on his big
Hog to Fillmore, CA. He left behind a wife and daughter at 47. Witnesses said he was going fast and passing traffic on the left of the double yellow lines. After airlifting him to a hospital in Thousand Oaks he could no be revived. No rain or oil on that road.
What a sad situation. I’ll pray for the family.
