....I HOPE YOU GET THIS, I DISABLED MY CHIP AND WE INVENTED A TIME MACHINE TO SEND MESSAGES THROUGH TIME SO I HOPE YOU GET THIS. UH OH! GUARDS ARE COMING GOTTA GO!
Die Dirty Dog of a Troll!!!
Just out of the goodness of your heart...
Or to make myself feel useful.
MonkeyFace Falls....why did they get that name?
It sounds like too much fun! Laser tag...is that as fun as paint ball wars?
Anyway, I’m back. (I know...you didn’t know I’d been gone, right?)
TC, you volunteer for “everything” because that’s what you do...it’s what you do with all those kids...”Here - let me help you with that; want me to show you how? So what else do you need?”
Oh, sometimes I manage to tell them, “Leave me alone and take care of it yourself!”
DP’s been on the phone with a reptile vet - Slash’s foot is looking bad. Vet can see him on Saturday. He said they shouldn’t eat so many crickets!
LOL!
What does the vet suggest you feed the hungry dragons???
That’s too bad about Slash’s foot. I hope it can be taken care of without too much difficulty.
They should eat vegetables. This will not make Santana happy *at all*.
I hope Slash doesn’t lose his foot! If nothing else, we’ll find out whether they’re hes or shes! From the description, the vet thought both males.
Ah. OK. I give the parakeets lettuce and celery, but some of them like carrots and others like apples. I try to make sure they don’t get bored with their food.
The catz, now....all they want is meat. And if it’s on the wing, it’s much tastier!
I hear thunder coming closer, so I’m closing down for the night.
Y’all be good!
The raw freshly hatched rough draftf of the beginning of yet another tale, as yet untitled.
It brings back some familiar characters.
The figure stood out against the white background of the Darchoth ice wastes, alone and dressed for more moderate climes.
Presently a resigned sigh was heard, and the figure headed back inside what once had been a cleverly hidden cave hewn from rock and ice.
A mausoleum for a forgotten warlord, a quiet respite from the events that had transpired to bring him to this end.
Once it had been cleverly hidden, indeed it had been hidden so well that the survey team had camped right over it and never known it was there.
Then some infernal contraption the team had alerted them to the hidden chambers below.
The figure paused, had it truly been twenty five years since that day?
It didn’t matter, they’d violated his resting place, and he’d made most of them regret it.
The survivors had fled back southward.
A snort, good riddance.
He didn’t need the meddlings of the living, nor anyone else for that matter.
And thinking of meddling, he noticed another figure approaching.
Though this one was solemn, respectful.
And a sure sign that future nuisances of the living would be his fate.
“Abilene.” he muttered to himself and scurried further into his crypt, as if this would hide him from either her eyes or his.
Abilene trudged towards the open passageway with a sense of resignation, she’d seen who she was looking for from a distance and watched him head back inside.
She paused in the opening and waited.
A deep resonant voice came from somewhere ahead, echoing and reverberating inside the chamber before her.
“Abilene.. I would prefer to be left in peace. This had better be deathly important...”
“It is. Your heir has been revealed. A man so like to you that it is almost beyond belief.” She hedged.
“And? You didn’t come all this way to bring me news.. considering what happened to bring me.. here.” some pain tinged the voice as the speaker remembered past events that led to his present banishment.
“Tell me you sensed him, surely you did.”
He had to admit that one blessing and curse of being who he was allowed him to withdraw himself comepletely from the hcaotic buzzing that was listening to everyone’s thoughts.
“MMM.. no. If I had, everyone else would know where I am, and they’d remember what happened.”
Abilene started as the face of Karsh Kentu leaned out from her right, a diagonal scar running across his face from under his right eye to just above his left eye.
Even in death the scars he’d borne still clung to him.
“Lord Kentu.. I’m.. sorry.” she had her hand over her mouth. Even though she alone of all their people remembered what had transpired, she’d never seen his scars.
“I also must admit tat for the past several years I’ve felt.. pain. Pain like the living feel. Mainly my right arm, and elbow.” he looked perplexed.
Ghosts didn’t and weren’t supposed to feel pain.
And Karsh Kentu was most definitely, defiantly, a ghost.
“What more is there to know?” he prodded, she felt him trying to pry the info from her mind as well.
She showed him he vision that had been given her from the Eternal, and after it was over he sat making a chewing motion with his mouth.
“But I was banished.” he pointed out.
“You have the authority to recind it.” she put forward the fact as plainly as she could.
“Very well Abilene Dral’mishar. But I too forsee things coming about from this that none intend.”
She wondered about that for awhile.
She’d keep wondering until it happened.
Bump for tomorrow.
That’s what Darks just said.
Is that your next Undead story?
He did? Well, I’ll read it later. Got to get the house tidied up - people coming over for Tom’s reptile presentation, which is his last requirement for the “Reptile and Amphibian Study” badge.
Good stuff! As usual.
Now I’m intrigued...
Awesome stuff!
I’ll make sure I see it.
Good luck to Tom! I’m sure he will do quite well on his presentation. As me dear departed Mum would say, “Ain’t no flies on that kid!”
I liked the special effects in the trailer.
Of course, I’m a big fan of anyone who can bring fantasy/sci-fi to the screen and make it believable.
