Kos’s Obama Birth Certificate Fake? [Hawaii Says It Did not Use "African" on Certs]
MacRanger Radio Show ^ | 6/12/08 | MacRanger

Kos is gloating over producing Barack Obama’s birth certificate.  First, generally vital statistical records are not available to anyone except the subject of the record unless they have signed a release (I’m checking Hawaii’s laws).   Perhaps the “Light Being” gave him a copy, who knows.  But the interesting thing about this certificate is the description for race on Obama’s father, it lists him as “African”.   In 1961 all Live Birth certificates contained the word “Black”, which is a race, not African.

Not that it can’t be real, and I really don’t care, but hey, this is “Screw ‘em” Kos.   Take a look.

Per lgf:

“This is NOT a birth certificate, it’s a “certification of live birth” — a slightly different thing.

And yes, the campaign did give it to Moulitsas for posting; he says so in the comments.”

But I checked with the vital statistics registrar in Hawaii and the “African” nomenclature is incorrect.  In 1961 it would have been “black” or even, “negro”.

Other abnormalities noted by Suitability Flip.

Based on this, as far as I’m concerned the jury’s still out.

OK, I just looked at my BC which is in the year 1961 and is from the state of Ca.

It has four different signature on it. My mothers, the doctor's the local registrar and registrar recorder

It has three different file dates stamped on it and two different certificate numbers. It also had two official seals, one for the state and the other for the county of L.A.

Also included are addresses for my folks, their type of employment, the hosptital name/address etc.

The point is, my BC contains a whole lot more info the the example for BO.

FWIW

Thanks. Now I have to go into my “cookie Jar” and delete the “kos” cookies. Can’t have that on my record.

Some intrepid reporter needs to go to Honolulu, find the clerk that issued the "Certification of Live Birth" and ask to see the documents it was based on.

Hawaii does not permit release of birth certificates without the person's permission, and Obama has repeatedly refused to give his permission.

A questions comes to my mind.

Does a person have to give his permission to release his "Certification of Live Birth"? If so, then why did Obama give permission to release that document and not a birth certificate.

In the late sixties and early seventies if you called a black man “colored” he would respond, “Who are colored people?” By then they wanted to be called black.

In 1961 the official word was Negro.

However, if some clerk who was filling out the birth certificate asked Obama’s mother where the father was from and she replied “Africa”, it’s possible this is what was written down.

YOur’re right about that. I’ve posted here many times the discrepancy regarding the hospital of birth. Wikipedia says it was Kapliolani (sp) Medical Center that did not open until 1989, the Obama site says Queens Hospital. Which is it? Foprget the BC as it’s an obvious forgery. I’m asking for the birth records as I don’t think he was even born here.

Do you know how hard it is to find a pic of Obama actually looking at the camera? Have you noticed he never looks at the camera when giving a speech? It annoys the heck out of me. He's always looking left and right and up (meaning down his nose)at his audience.

However I did find one to create this:

It says “Country of birth: Honolulu” Shouldn’t that be United States of America?
Also, the state seal is squished. I’ve never seen a seal that wasn’t perfectly round.

I was born in 1962 and mine is black. It looks nothing like this!

No...I wasn’t making a point...I was just saying don’t bet this is a fake because it’s not folded...there are states where you get an unfolded certificate. I didn’t read the whole thread, maybe someone’s said “HI is always folded”

Isn’t all this stuff checked by some kind of US Department BEFORE someone runs for Pres? Isn’t there who someone or someones who say, “No, you can’t run for president because your not a US citizen”?

You have WAY too much faith in the federal goobermint.

The NC 1910 census lists “B” for black and “W” for white. I thought that interesting for 1910.

What was debunked? “That” is not clear.

If what you say (it applies when a child is born outside of the US) is accurate, we still need to validate alien Obama’s “birth” place.

A few things missing from this document, namely the raised state seal mother and father’s place of birth.

For 1961, the lack of parental information is troubling.

Mine is also 1961 from Rhode Island. I just went and looked at it. I did not know RI had such a long name! Whew!! Anyway, it showed 3 signatures, the seal, parents’ names, DOB and place of birth, name and address of hospital, date filed and some other stuff. lol
I also looked at my son’d certification of birth I had to use once. It was very sparse. Just his name, date of birth and my address at time of birth. Maybe a couple other things, but not much. It had a seal, though!

I think it’s a fake, but here is my birth certificate experience (showing some people are bringing up non-issues).

When I requested a copy of my Alabama and my son’s Tennessee birth certificates, they were certified copies of original paperwork, including signatures of the parents. My husband and other three children were born in Washington. All I can get from Washington are digital print-outs (I’ve never had my hands on the original birth certificates for my girls with the actual signatures on it, and obviously I was there when they were born.) In Washington, the state certification stamp is on the back (but bleeds through slightly to the front.) Although they are print-outs, they all are called: Certificate of Live Birth. I am assuming the policy is similar in Hawaii as it is to Washington.

I, too, think that legitimacy is in question.

We are talking about 1961. The claims advanced about "black" being the preferred word, or maybe "Negro" getting top billing, are malarky.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was the first that authorized the Executive Branch to take action to enforce the rights of victims of discrimination.

Until that time there was no need for a standard "racial" reporting classification outside of the US Census.

I really wish folks would bother studying their 1960s history first.

Technically speaking anyone born in any place currently or formerly under the authority of the Kingdom of Spain is "Hispanic".

That includes Virginia (among a lot of other places).

The federale who wrote the rule betrayed his abysmal ignorance of American history.

One more thing, I have received copies that I paid extra to have Fed Exed and they were not folded.
