Yea I am finally seeing people pull into a station to save a few pennies a gallon. I remember when I was a kid my parents would drive for miles to save 2 cents a gallon.

I’m seeing price diferentials now of up to 15 cents per gallon. When prices were lower we didn’t see such a wide spread.

The 2nd set of numbers represents a Shell station here in the San Jose area and the 8 cents represents a possible saving by shopping around. However, I know people that are driving a round trip of 10 miles to save the 8 cents. At 20 miles a gallon they use about $ 2.25 to save $ 1.60 on a 20 gallon purchase.
