I’d drop the kid off with her suitcase on the judge’s doorstep. That ruling is insane.
Oh good grief. The world is going to hell in a handbasket, and fast.
The ex-wife, in a custody dispute took the father to court.
The daughter didn’t win.
The ex-wife/mother did.
Life copies The Simpsons.
In the US, the CPS would trump up an abuse charge and put the father in prison.
This blows my mind. I can’t even come up with words. Or even what I’d do in such a situation.
It’s fun to laugh at Canada’s silly tribunals but, in reality, it’s really very scary.
Good father.
Bad mother.
Terrible judge.
Just as crazy rulings have been made by judges in this country also. And it will get far worse until we find ourself in a dictatorship of judges.
Father should renounce and sign away his parental rights and change daughter’s birth certificate naming the judge as father....no matter what the judge’s sex....
Just ignore the ruling, for pete’s sake!
What’s the worst that could happen? She’s taken away from you?
Darn... if she’s that much of a b!tch in the first place, that’s probably a better deal for you.
And if she wants to stay with her family, she won’t tell the judge about it, in the first place.
Either way, you win.
Wow, this is insane... if I ever had been grounded, I wouldn’t have even dreamed of suing my parents over it. And, at 12 I was definitely aware of the internet, most of the dangers associated, and what not to do online... then again, this was well before the days of Myspace, photobucket, and the concept of social networking in general, back when email and AIM were the trendy new ways to communicate.
