HAVE A CIGAR!

It could inspire the Bruins to improve next year, never know.
Red must be having a great big smile.
Probably not much different than Gainesville after our three recent championships.
But at least the fans are staying civil, and the police will see to it that it stays that way.
This was almost a carbon copy of the last series between L.A. and Boston, 21 years ago. (although, to be fair, Boston didn't lose the last game by 40).
The team with HCA, the Lakers, won the first two games.
The home team for the next three games won Game 3...ending talk of a sweep.
Game 4 was an epic battle. The home team (Celtics) had an 18 point second half lead. Unlike the Lakers this year, the Celtics had a 6 point lead with just under two minutes to play. The Lakers win by one, courtesy of the baby hook by Magic Johnson.
Game 5 was a convincing win by the home team. (Ok, the Lakers barely scraped by, so there's no comparison there)
Game 6 went back to the team with the HCA...and again, to their credit, though Boston did lose, they didn't lose by 40.
In fact, they had a 5 point lead at halftime...kinda like the Lakers had in Game 1 of this series, in Boston. The Celtics lost that lead in about two minutes, and the game turned on James Worthy's diving steal, tipping it to Magic while on his back. Magic dunked it, the Lakers never trailed again, and Boston did not play in another Finals until this year.
Amazing, the similarities. Home team wins 1, 2, 4, and 6, and at least one veteran who had not previously won a title (Mychal Thompson then, Garnett, Allen, Pierce, and P.J. Brown this year) won.
Congrats to the Celtics for a job well done.
Great to see a former SEC/LSU player by the last name of Davis on the Celtics team. Happy to see a former UConn Huskie player, Ray Allan do so well. Both the Big East and the SEC conferences should be proud. :)
The Celtics just raped the Lakers tonight. They invited the Lakers up to their Colorado hotel room. The Lakers just wanted to be with the Celtics because they were famous, but the Celtics just wanted to take advantage of the Lakers. No one believed that the Celtics could do that, but they did.
Yeah, it was like that.
I said it was cat piss for me.
Is cat piss Celtic Green, or Laker Yellow?
Congrats ... it’s wonderful to see the Celtics come back after all these years. Hope it stays safe in your ‘hood.
Awww, the Boston fans and the LA fans, sure they are going to start a little trouble.
But that’s no biggie, if you’ve never seen what the English Football fans do.
I’m a Manchester United fan. Now, you should see some REAL trouble after a game with Italy. Look out. It’s “going to go off”.
There are no lakes in Los Angeles.
It’s 48 years since they left Minneapolis, and it’s time they renamed the team.
In honor of this historic blowout, how about the LA Losers?
That’s a good one. Or, the LA Oversized Pants with Undershorts Showing. Is that too long?
And you know that the police in Austria and Switzerland are thrilled that England didn't qualify for the Euro 2008 finals.
Even Kobe is becoming marketable again now that he does every interview with his daughters to appear like husband/father of the year and has learned to be more picky with who he fools around with.
Phuqin' A !!!
The Lakers played like they were still at a bar in Redondo Beach.
If I was the Lakers GM I would clean house of the useless European bricklayers. Gasol acted like he was totally intimidated. How many times in the series did he get a good entry pass at the free throw line and pass on the shot.
Bottom line is the Celtics had more heart, desire, better shooters and rebounding.
They wanted it more.
