More Liberal Lies about Free Republic

Posted on 06/15/2008 12:27:19 AM PDT by doesnt suffer fools gladly

I was here day the story broke about Ted Kennedy's cancer. For the most part, members were civil. Look at this boldface LIE, the last post on the bottom.

This person is giving us a compliment...

While that may be your interpretation of it, I have serious doubts that was the poster's intent.

The sociopaths were angry at Tim Russert?

YES!

Kos... DU all had posts vilifying the master propagandist(Russert) for the DNC. It not only shows their stupidity... but their hatred for any rational discourse.

Well, I remember that the Moderators shut down at least 5-8 threads about Kennedy because certain people (2 every 20 posts or so) seemed to be breaking the rules and kept getting pulled.

Hardly a “shutting down of the forum”.

Salon.Com?!?!?

LOL, that’s rich. In the kitchen of liberal online ‘journalism’, Salon is nothing more than cockroach droppings.

No legs, no antennae, just droppings and damn few readers.

I'll be busy too, as I have the coveted "P*ss on the Peanut" concession at the official Jimmy Carter burial site and my business is ALREADY booming with reservations! LOL

Salon? Are they still in business? There use to be a rule here, that if you posted nonsense from salon.com, you also had t post their stock price. I’m too lazy.

the main point is right — they shouldn’t speak ill of Tim Russert.

Anybody on the left is the enemy.

They will joyfully pull the lever for a Marxist candidate that is hell bent for leather to turn our country into a socialist/communist regime and take away my/your/our freedom.

Conservatives are going to have to draw a line in the sand and take a hard stance or we're in danger of losing everything the founders and all others fought and died for.

I do not celebrate TR's death. However, I do see it as one less vote for O. Hussein and one less liberal voice on the air pitching a Marxist agenda.

(Admin Moderator: you can remove this post but it won't change my position.)

Mate — that is really cold, and I’m stunned.

That’s a helluva way to sum up a man’s entire life. It’s not like he was in al Qaeda, and to the best of my knowledge he didn’t kill anyone.

> Anybody on the left is the enemy.

No, I respectfully disagree: they are an opponent to be out-voted.

Enemies are to be bayoneted or hanged or shot or killed by whatever means at your disposal, to the point of abject defeat and unconditional surrender and/or extermination.

And there are very very few — if any — people on the left in the United States or in New Zealand where I live who would qualify for the bayonet or the rope or a bullet.

You need to get a grip. You need to grab a good handful of proportionality. Take a cold shower or a long vacation. Or a happy pill.

Crikey.

Liberals never have their heads out of their butts long enough to learn the truth of any matter.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

We must call them what they are: Marxists and Communists.

Corollary:

**ALL** Marxists and Communists lie!

I surely agree. There is still plenty of wriggle room in the political process and our culture to defeat the Marxists, communists, and Useful Idiots.

But I fear for my children and grand children.

Didn’t Ted Rall write a column for his syndicate saying that he hoped Ronald Reagan was roasting in Hell at the time of his passing?

Ah yes, the Salon daily stock deathwatch...

No multiyear graphic today, Yahoo isn't working well.

They must've just gotten another scampaign donation to keep in bidness. Look at the dip in June, then recovery.

And last year they got a scampaign boost as the November election was approaching (September).

Campaign Finance Reform will never go after this type of ADVERTISING for the Democrat Party.

I don't recall out of hand negative comments against Ted Kennedy nor FR being shut down. Hambone's other posts reveal a hard left Obamanationist, but this is Salon.com.
To those who feel like making their point

A number of you have posted only to have your post deleted. You may not have used profanities. You may not have been racist, sexist or inflammatory. But you broke all standards of good taste.

When Ted Kennedy was diagnosed a couple weeks back, Free Republic had to shut down its forum because the negative comments got out of hand. Let that sink in: the most conservative website had to shut down a forum because they were repulsed by what was being posted about a liberal.

Salon is doing you a favor because even if you won't look back and be embarrassed, a lot of other people will be pretty disappointed in you. A person, especially a liberal, should never celebrate another's death, especially when it is someone who has never killed another person but was merely a news personality. You never liked him? Fine. But don't celebrate his death. That's morbid and it is, in many ways, inhumane.

Everyone is free to have these thoughts, but for the sake of your own standing you should probably keep them to yourself. If you are unable to understand this, imagine if similar things were said after your wife/parents/child died.

Though I'll never meet them, I feel very sorry for Mr. Russert's son and father, and the rest of his family.

> Didn’t Ted Rall write a column for his syndicate saying that he hoped Ronald Reagan was roasting in Hell at the time of his passing?

I seem to recall something like that being said by someone like Ted Rall. To which, all I can say is this:

1) The person or persons who said that need to be concerned about what God thinks about them wishing such wicked things about His servant Ronald Reagan: for He will surely not be well pleased; and

2) Even if He gives them a pass on that account, we know that He does not take pleasure in the death of the Wicked in any case. So they need to be concerned about their attitude as it is not in compliance with the Divine Ideal that was set for us — and is thus a Sin in and of itself; and

3) If they have not Repented for 1) and or 2) above, then they need to fear Divine Judgment for — like wicked Haman in the Bible — we need to be careful what we wish upon our Enemies lest we get the same punishment meted out to ourselves. As Our Lord says: “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with the measure ye meet, it shall be meted unto you.”

In any event, saying such wicked things about Ronald Reagan could easily put them in peril of Divine judgment. They are therefore skating on thin ice indeed.

We should therefore pray that they change their attitude, for the sake of their own Salvation.

Mate — that is really cold, and I’m stunned.

Cold? You don't know cold.......mate.

That’s a helluva way to sum up a man’s entire life. It’s not like he was in al Qaeda, and to the best of my knowledge he didn’t kill anyone.

Let me explain it to you, mate. You could be the sweetest little flower on the planet but if you support and vote for someone that has a Marxist agenda, then you are my enemy!

No, I respectfully disagree: they are an opponent to be out-voted.

Enemies are to be bayoneted or hanged or shot or killed by whatever means at your disposal, to the point of abject defeat and unconditional surrender and/or extermination.

If they try to take away our freedom by setting up a Marxist regime it just may come to that.

And there are very very few — if any — people on the left in the United States or in New Zealand where I live who would qualify for the bayonet or the rope or a bullet.

What the hell have you been smoking?

You need to get a grip. You need to grab a good handful of proportionality. Take a cold shower or a long vacation. Or a happy pill.

And you need to quit smoking whatever it is that you're on and grab a dose of reality.

The United States of America is the only reason that you can live free on your little island and if there is an attempt to take over the United States of America by a Marxist regime you better pray that there are enough 'cold' individuals to resist such a takeover.

Crikey my ass............mate...............

Is anyone missing the best compliment this web site could get? Apparently, FR is the “most” conservative website.

Thanks for the best compliment one could give!

> Let me explain it to you, mate. You could be the sweetest little flower on the planet but if you support and vote for someone that has a Marxist agenda, then you are my enemy!

No, let me explain it to you: if you truly believe that the people on the Left in the US (ie the Democrats) are your *enemies* (ie someone who deserves to be killed by whatever means at your disposal) then someone needs to toss a butterfly net over you and take you into protective custody under preventative detention: you are a danger to yourself and everybody else in your immediate vicinity.

Do you disagree? How ‘bout this: let’s see a list of Democrats that you honestly believe deserve to die for their Leftist beliefs, and if so on what charge. Put up or shut up. Mate.

> The United States of America is the only reason that you can live free on your little island(snip!)

What have *you* been smoking, mate? There hasn’t been a major US military presence in New Zealand for decades. Some of us like it that way — I don’t incidentally, but that’s because I like Americans and I enjoy their company.

Furthermore, the last time I checked it has been over a century since the United States won a major war all by itself. More often than not, the US has enjoyed the help of countries like NZ, Australia, Canada, the UK, in nearly every war you’ve fought last century and this.

That is certainly unlikely to change anytime soon.

> If they try to take away our freedom by setting up a Marxist regime it just may come to that.

No it won’t. Not ever. Not even once. Not even in the Left’s wildest dreams or in your worst realistic nitemare.

Like I said, you need to grab a big handful of proportionality, get a dose of reality: nobody is going to set up a Marxist Regime in the United States. It cannot happen. Your institutions do not permit that to happen.

Even if they tried really, really hard in the US, you couldn’t even get a system even so far left as “Helengrad” — what we call Helen Clark’s Labor regime. Not in a million years. Sure, it is Left — very much so. But it is a long, long way from being Marxist. And this coming election, it will be gone Thank God.

The Democrats may steer things toward the Left in the US somewhat if they win this election: that would be unfortunate and regrettable, but it is easily fixed if enough people vote them out next time.

> Cold? You don’t know cold.......mate.

Sure I do. And if what you say ain’t cold, then it is merely tough-guy bravado. Take your pick.
