Hawkwind-Space Ritual(live) One of the greatest concept albums ever produced. It is Psychedelic-Space-Rock at it’s best. All the songs are really great and the story-line of the songs that is generated is awesome. 8-)

Harry Chapin- Mr.Tanner
Herman’s Hermits- No Milk Today
The Hollies- He ain’t Heavy, He’s my brother
******************************
(I’m joining this discussion late)
No question, ‘Taxi’ for Chapin. I don’t know the intro to ‘Tanner’ (anyways we’re judging top songs here not top intros), but the ‘Tanner’ chorus, verses, and music seem pretty trite when compared to ‘Taxi’, a relative masterpiece.
Milk is a very good song, but not quite the quality of Mrs Brown and Something Good.
‘Heavy’ is a legitimate favorite, but Bus Stop has more originality in the lyrics and music, as well as an understated sentimentality (as opposed to the hit-you-over-the-head emotionality of ‘Heavy.’)
also:
High School Musical Cast - Stick To The Status Quo
Hannah Montana - If We Were A Movie
- ‘Stick’ was used as the Act 1 finale in the stage version.
- ‘Movie’ is a great song.
