Jeff Peckman is a 54-year-old who lives with his parents, promotes technology that supposedly creates harmony by manipulating electromagnetic fields and is behind an initiative to form a commission on extraterrestrials in Denver.
"He's less ahead of his time if you put him in Boulder," ... "He's more ahead of his time in downtown Denver."
Peckman is derided, dismissed and deemed a doofus ...
His projects - everything from technology called brain fingerprinting to an Oregon ballot initiative to label genetically engineered food ...
In 2003, Peckman championed Initiative 101, which would have required the city to promote peacefulness. The campaign cost $2,000, and the initiative lost - with a respectable 32 percent of the vote.
Peckman first popped into the public eye in 1998, when his name was put on the ballot as the U.S. Senate candidate for the Natural Law Party, a now-defunct group based on the Maharishi's teachings.
His Initiative 101 was dubbed "Safety through Peace."
Depite being ridiculed and misunderstood, the initiative got more than 28,000 votes.
Peckman wrote Measure 27, a 2002 Oregon initiative that would have required the labeling of genetically engineered food. Although it lost, it was endorsed by Paul McCartney, Consumers Union and others.
Peckman is confident that his latest initiative not only will get on the ballot but will pass...

I repeat, there is ZERO credible evidence that we have been “visited”, you’re buying into a whacky conspiracy theory, no different than the 9/11 truthers.
Good to see you have an open mind. Would you please, just go to Disclosure project...? There are videos of 200 people who worked for the US government who say they have first hand knowledge.
But the other guy Bends It like Peckham...
Excellent!
I’ve been there, it’s a joke.
Your mind is so “open” you’re willing to fall for the snake oil that they’re selling.
My mind is rooted in common sense, logic and critical thinking, once you apply those things to UFO’s, 9/11 truthers, ghost hunters, etc. It’s pretty easy to see that there is ZERO CREDIBLE evidence.
You are not looking at the evidence. Gordon Cooper and Dr. Edwin Mitchell (who walked on the moon) have both stated the reality of these visitations.
If you sit down for one hour and watch each presentation from the two National Press Club meetings you will become convinced.
Open your mind.
Any intelligent species that vists our planet will have a “DO NOT ENTER” signs surrounding this solar system after they leave.
Should I open my mind so far that my brains fall out?
Sorry, I will wait for credible evidence before I believe in other intelligent life, the presentations you reference will only reinforce true believers like yourself, not change rational thinking peoples minds.
I believe those who refuse to look at evidence are irrational.
Galileo urged the church fathers to look through is telescope and see how the planets moved around the sun...their response was, no can do....it would interfere with religious doctrine. If you have closed your mind you will continue to live in the dark.
Comparing yourself and UFO kooks as Galileo is irrational, I saw the 2001 press conference that you find so “convincing”, I’m so unconvinced it’s astounding.
I must have a “closed” mind, I must be a fool who believes what the govt. tells me. I’m living in the “dark”, the only real truths are understood by people who believe in UFO conspiracies.
Why do all quacks consider themselves superior beings to people who require evidence? I would love to see evidence of life on other planets, as it stands there is NONE.
Enjoy your hobby.
The difference between you and me is that I go to the facts and I don’t call people who disagree with me names.
Someday, soon you will see.
I call em’ as I see em”, we’ve been hearing from the fringe UFO people, “you’ll see soon” for about 40 years now, were waiting............
So, what do you do with this kind of fascinating evidence
????
—BTW, it’s the last of 9 sections . . . each one quite interesting:

Just when you think UFO lunatics can’t get any nuttier, you go and post THIS!!! Brilliant!
It’s been sixty years...I call ‘em like I see ‘em too...
Here’s a brief list of some of the convinced:
John Podesta, Edgar Mitchell, Gordon Cooper, Steven Bassett, Lawrence Rockefeller, over 800 airline pilots, over 200 eye and ear witnesses in N. Mexico (1947), general-grade officers in US and NATO forces, US nuclear commanders who had missiles shut down in N. Dakota (1967).
The list is in the thousands.
All I’m saying is...look at the testimony. All they all crazy? Are they all in it for money?
I don’t know what they are seeing, some think it’s the Nephilm (sp?) from the Bible in the last days Christ promised their return.
But there is something there.
Roswell had been debunked conclusively yet you cling to it...
The non believers number in the millions or billions, shall I list them and their credentials...
As soon as there is CREDIBLE EVIDENCE I will reconsider my position, as of today there is NONE.
Don’t know if Roswell happened or not...suspect it did. But I don’t “cling” to it.
There’s plenty of excellent eye witness testimony...best cases are...Shag Harbor (Canada), Cash/Landrum, McGuire AFB, Michigan Saucer Chase, March 1966, and many, many, more.
Go to UFO Casebook. There are thousands of cases.
The question you have to ask yourself is...are ALL these people crazy or lying?
Evidently the awareness of ET's and UFO's from dilisgent objective research is as informed as the awareness from diligent objective research of who posted this thread.

Brilliant.

As the song says . . . when will they ever learn . . .
BTW, Thanks for the grossly insulting personal assault. We have to keep things normal on the UFO threads. It helps condition folks for greater shock levels in the future.
As a psychologist, perhaps I should pay more attention and maybe keep some simple statistics. I wonder how many of the chronically clueless are woefully willfully blind. That's an interesting empirical question. Could be a bit tricky to ferret out 'willfully blind,' though.
Well put.
However, The Chronically Clueless seem to have their heads . . . in the ignorant sands of their own self-important constructions on reality . . . evidently defending against the insecurities of a world view their constructs are inadequate to encompass.
