Cane either jumped the shark or was written as a mini-series. Smits was put in charge of the run producer, invested $100 million in an ethonol flop and had his business rival killed. Then he leaves the company. They threw everything at us in a few episodes.

Yes. I believe it did. Unfortunately, another show that got canned was ‘New Amsterdam’...That was a disappointment. I liked the show...it had potential.
