Thanks for this post. Tom Wolfe is just about our greatest living writer and I have read eveything he’s done, nonfiction and fiction.
I have the book on tape for his 1970s book on Radical Chic.
It’s been awhile since I’ve tried to listen to all 3 tapes of it (I bought it for 75 cents at a library book sale years ago).
Is it worth wading through? Is there relevancy to this election as some of the figures of Radical Chic have played a roll in the 2004 election (and release of Abu Ghraib photos) and the 2008 election?
