My rep is Dollar Bill Jefferson - he and his family are busy right now with other moe pressing matters - indeed, if they get convicted of any one of the dozens of counts in the several indictments, they really won't care about the cost of energy - the Feds will be paying the bill at the penitentiary.

That said, I have sent my "next door" newly elected Rep (Steve Scalise - R- La) my endorsement of Paul's bill as well as my Senator, David Vitter - everyone should send his/her own Rep/Senthe msg that we have to get in front of this issue and take control.

McCain is against drilling in ANWR but he is, after all, a political whore and maybe can get the msg - much like the donkey, one only has to hit it in the head with a post a few times and it will get the msg.
