You should have tried shooting wooden match sticks, they pop and burn when they hit the wall. - We made stink bombs: you take a ball point pen, take out the ink cartridge, keep the spring, put in a wooden match, make a little T shaped trigger from a hair bobby pen, attach it through the spring, close the pen, pull the trigger back, it strikes the match, the match goes off inside the plastic pen, stinky heaven. I have not thought of that for 40 years, thanks.
