God rest his soul. I’m sure he influenced what I wear, although I have no idea exactly how.

I couldn't afford his clothing, but I'll thank him forever for my favorite fragrance "Opium". For me, there is no other.

A fragile fellow.

he did single handedly save Dior from ruin

he was a dandy on the 54 cicuit as i recall, hobnobbing with Liza, Lauren, Truman and Andy etc.

I liked his stuff. I could never pay retail. But at a Macy’s one day sale or at the outlets..............well, I too could be styling the YSL

In a time when so many guys dress like slobs, Ralph reminded some guys of how a MAN dresses. So, RIP.

Per Fox News he helped to make the pantsuit more fashionable. Feel free to go with this.

I remember seeing him as a mystery guest on “What’s My Line” on the Game Show Network. The segment looked to have been filmed in the early sixties. YSL was very young and I was struck by how extremely shy he appeared to be. I always thought he had a great name for a designer. May he RIP.

It was Yves Saint Laurent who paired women’s pantsuits with high heels, which I just love.

I used to smoke YSL cigarettes (yes, he had his brand on cigarettes) back in the late 80’s.

I was too cool for the room.
