I always loved VBS too!! It was a different way of going to church:-)

The swimming pool will be so much fun when you get it put up.

So sorry you and so many throughout California have to put up with the hot, smokey, ashy air. We are being spared L.A. County on down this time, but we KNOW what it is like!!

Oh yes, VBS!!! Kobe has been in a great VBS all week and will have a program tomorrow night at the church! It is a local Baptist church and not the church where we are members, but he loves it and it is a great fellowship!

Today has been okay weatherwise in Eagle Rock. Just hope it doesn't get any worse. Amy, I am so sorry for your smoke and the horrible fires in the Northern part of the state!! Polly

Mornin’ Dita. The good news is, the smoke is much better in the valley today and was better yesterday too. For awhile though, midweek, it got seriously bad. Everyone's eyes were smarting and burning and we had to stay inside with the windows closed up. Still that awful acrid smoke got in. Could have been worse though, we could have had our property threatened by the fires like so many Californians right now. My heart goes out to the firefighters. I can't imagine fighting wildfires in stifling heat for days on end.
