He is basically the living, breathing embodiment of the overwhelming majority of people in this country, whom I do not, cannot and let's face it will not understand. Not ever. He makes me realize just how detached I am with reality and how unimportant I am. And that makes me sort of hate myself. And this country. Sort of.... the ideals and social forces he represents that frustrate and, well, sort of terrify me.
This guy needs medication.
And there are underlying consequences here that I don't want to think about. Like, what does David Cook winning "American Idol" mean for Barack Obama's chances in November? Or for ever withdrawing from Iraq? Or ending our dependency on foreign oil? I worry about these things because David Cook makes me worry.
First off, no one makes you do anything. Second, if you are seeing a connection between David Cook winning AI and the election, then, yes you are really detached from reality. Why do I picture his office to have newspaper clippings posted from floor to ceiling with random words circled as he rants about the secret code the government is sending him?
Hi Jonny. Thanks for pinging me to this fun thread. Sometimes, the more putrid a Leftist's bile, the funnier they are, albeit unintentionally. In Montgomery's case, maybe the problem is that he's taken too much...ummm..."medication" in his life. :)
What I find so interesting about the current Leftist political culture is that they are ranting venomously from the pulpit to academia to Congress, all the way to an MTV music critic's column. Yet these are the people whose "savior" is supposed to unify us all in one big kumbaya moment. Blah!
