i pray for america and ask You to have mercy and to forgive this nation and her people for turning from You and Your ways. help us to turn toward You and to seek You in all things. protect america from her enemies and help us in these times of trouble. give us leaders that will be godly and wise. may we be humble, thankful and obedient in Your sight, Lord.

Help us as we strive to maintain individual liberties, honoring the memory of those that perished establishing a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Place your protective hand on those that serve today both at home and abroad. Be a comforting presence to them as they dedicate themselves to their country, many distanced from their families.
Remind us to daily to cling to and cherish our freedom to worship you at will. I pray, Lord, that you would protect this country from the claws of those that are seeking to destroy it. Guide America in turning from sin and seeking your face once again.

I firmly believe God is mightily at work on behalf of this country - even now - even in the “drought” of leaders that are about to be foisted upon us....
And He alone is our Hope!
