I will finish the weekend project to clean out the garage and computer room today. Or at least most of it.
Rather than Craigslist the valuable IT stuff, I will offer it to any FReeper that FReepmails me.
I am near Waxahachie, south of Dallas. It is best if you can come get it this afternoon.
Even out in the country, once this stuff hits the curb it disappears quickly.
So far I have multiple computers, some fairly recent, all in a state of (dis)repair. Scanners, printers, hard drives etc.
The stuff you expect when you visit a geek friend that has been in the business for 20+ years.
Most is repairable, all has value.

Some of the older stuff ... maybe fold not so good.
We found our old TI 99 complete system, including a pCode card and expansion box. Used to program in Forth, Pascal and assembly with it.
Rare are these.
I've had a PS3 now since Jan and was thinking of firing up the folding Feature. Is there a thread here on FR that shows you the ropes on setting up and joining the team?
I used to run SETI all the time on my PC but that was years ago.

You should go here for detailed directions:

I think that the PS3 works best if you update the BIOS from the Sony store, restart and then download the software from the Sony store.
Please use your FReep name and Team 36120.
Thanks.
That will be my after dinner project tonight.
