Lefties would be well advised to stay away, lest their heads explode.
Thanks for the reminder. Looks like a great line-up on PBS starting tomorrow afternoon(CST).
12:30 Nickles from Heaven
1:30 The Marines of Montford Point: Fighting for Freedom
2:30 The Marines
4:00 A Gathering of Heroes
4:30 The Four Chaplains: Sacrifice at Sea
5:30 D-Day: The Price of Freedom
6:30 The Price of Freedom
And then the concert, of course.
We love watching this every year.
I’d never heard about Charles Durning’s war experiences before—incredible and very humbling.
Had seen the concert for the first time in a good couple of years in full. Excellent from start to finish. When they honored actor Charles During, I thought it was because he had passed since they showed three pass reflections from his service during WWII. But when he walked in, I was suprised he was still alive. It reminds me that every day as more of the veterans from WWII pass on, we must not take their reflections of their time in war battles for granted.
Also I have family relations, living and decesed who have served.
